Imo I don’t think she liked him for even a second. I always saw her flirting and banter was only to keep him from hurting her husband and family. If she didnt throw a bone to him to make him like her in the beginning then he wouldn’t have a problem doing that. There was never a moment when she was alone where she was thinking of him fondly. I could see her feeling bad for him though. I cried too at his letter but she didn’t. I would never judge a victim but I couldn’t help but love her even more for hating him from beginning to end
I agree! This is why i love the fl so much. Because she stand by her decision. Words can’t express how proud i am to see her reach that far to escape him. I truly hope that she and her husband will live a happy life together. and as for her falling in love with him, I guess we will never know right? but you might be right, she never fall for him. In the end, I can’t help but agree with everything you said. Still, I find it crazy how she decided to keep the baby. It would hurt my soul if the baby end up growing up looking like someone who tortured me.
I just finished it. This was such a emotional rollercoaster read for me. The thought of fl suffering from start until the very end is crazy. I couldn’t help but cry for her. She’s strong, stunning, amazing, beautiful, brave, she’s is everything that i could never be. I am happy for her because she is finally free from him but..i was wondering if there was slightly a moment where she fell in love with the kidnapper? The ending was truly something..she lived, she’s finally free from him because in the end he realised how much he truly love her so he let her go. But the letter he wrote for her made me stare into the screen for a while. As much as i hate him, the his letter made me cry. He loves her but loving her isn’t enough. He will never deserve her after what he did. The author really play with our feelings, such a nice writing.
