i dont think its to the point of favoritism. father loves the brother too but he just doesnt show it, he cares abt him in a different way than how he cares abt mabel. father just pampers mabel more cz she's his youngest child (a daughter at that, typical family dynamic where parents spoils their youngest) and he just lost the love of his life (mabel's mom)
I read a comment (not in this website) abt this and they said the “father” here has a favoritism and supposedly should be in the list with the “bad fathers”? Is it true?? And is he really a bad father to his other child?
