If the story had focused less on the smut and put more effort into the plot and character development, it could have been much much better, even if it's a short story. I’m not just trying to see the bright side—I genuinely believe the story had a lot of potential. But it seems the author didn’t intend for it to go that way. What do you guys think?
Am I the only one happy with the ending? Sure, it wasn’t perfect or “healthy,” but I think the main idea was that the female lead finally broke free from everything that was holding her back. She’s done pretending to be someone she’s not just to please someone who doesn’t value her, and she’s no longer letting anyone manipulate her. It’s a nice ending to see her making choices for herself—even if some aren’t ideal, at least she's in control. Loved that the ending was short and didn’t drag out, which really worked in its favor. I thought the male lead’s ending was fitting too, his downfall was a direct result of his own actions. Still, I would have liked to know more about the other characters. Did any of them grow or change after everything that happened, or did they stay the same? But overall, I think keeping the ending short helped avoid any extra drama or dragging points that might have weakened the story.
