“ explain how the 1st act wasn't supposed to drag out as long as it did, which tells you they were exhausted and they feel like they have an idea of how to present Act 2 but then again that might prove exhausting too”
Lemme correct you on this one, babe. Changing the storyboard happens to all authors. Even if you have a dashboard and detailed plan of the story, it would always change because as you write the story in actual detail, you’ll realize that some pieces would need to be changed/deleted/added. They never planned to drag it out is most probably because they noticed some things to be done in the middle of the story, not out of exhaustion. Great example of this is attack on titan, One Piece and basically a lot of BLs out there
Not sure about manhwa's but personally I don't think I've read an unfinished series or maybe I just forgot them...manga's yes - I have a lot of them.
If anything, they enjoyed adding more non-BL parts in Act 1. Which I think gives more weight to the story than just the average BL - angst, sex, romance, then repeat. Act 2 will probably the same, unless the reader only expected the story to concentrate on the couple.
I'm gonna say it, I'm starting not to trust these writers after they give these notes on what they were thinking and how they worked through the story. And then they promise to return with Season 2 and, I never see the Season 2. There are so many stories, I've read that are unfinished and it's been years now. I'm sure there are others who have read these works, only to have them end on a cliffhanger with promises by the writers and artist to return and they never do. I hope this isn't another one... that'll bite the dust.
I say that because the writer and artist, explain how the 1st act wasn't supposed to drag out as long as it did, which tells you they were exhausted and they feel like they have an idea of how to present Act 2 but then again that might prove exhausting too...ugh. Anyways, I won't hold out hope...if it comes back then it comes back. Writer and Artist, enjoy your rest.
