Is there any stories like this except MC doesn’t chase after him and isn’t pathetic? I prefer novel but mangas are fine too.

Yes, the ML said it for a reason but it wasn’t a good reason. I’m so pissed off with how much MC expresses and ML is a robot. He knew MC liked him the whole time during their deal, and played him.
If I was MC, I wouldn’t have chased after his annoying ass. I would’ve moved away, cut contact or just annoy the crap out of ML. I would’ve gotten with that other friend who confessed to MC (of course before he tried to rape MC).
