I'm on Lonnie boat too but I read that Claude is the ML. OI authors always loved the mischievous smart blonde type to be the MLs.

See the thing is, I can see what yall mean, but if Lonnie was to be the ML I feel like he'd be too much of tsundere and just a little bit oblivious to the smaller tells of how Melody's feeling bc she'd be the type to be more repressed and play it off as her being perfectly fine right?

What I meant to say is Lonnie is also a great ML but with Melody's character and her past and everything Claude feels like a better fit for the sole reason that he's smart enough to notice all the smaller tells of how Melody's ACTUALLY feeling rather than the facade she tries to keep up
Meanwhile Melody compliments Claude in that she doesn't stand for his bs and straight up tells it as it is with him rather than being super cautious around him and all
Just bc of those i thing the Claude Melody ship is nice with Lonnie being more of a best friend.... but again this is just imo so to each their own (⌒▽⌒)
I really want Lonnie to be the ML, I think they compliment each other so well. The ML is probably Claude from the way things are going. I hope it’s not but I never get the ML I want in these stories lol
