That is so real. Considering he’s a person to keep things to himself, I would believe he would find it hard to confide with anyone.

Right! I just caught up, but haven't read the latest release.
I mean, in his case it turned out alright (I guess) because it's somebody he trusts and cares for, but just imagining that happening to me I seriously would never trust anything with my thoughts again. People, pets, dolls, you name it. ╥﹏╥
I would end up with trust issues for life if I were him. (I'm only on chapter 60) He had so much stress piled on and trust issues to begin with that he only talked to a bird when he felt he was well and truly alone with it. Then that bird turns out to be human. (⊙…⊙ ) I would never speak my thoughts to a single creature again if I were him.
