Binge read this although it’s not completed I’ll write this before I forget. This story is so intriguing the mc and ml are similar when they could have fought for justice and truth they ran away instead blaming themselves even when their respective siblings were the ones who wronged them. They both truly inspire each other. Even if they are similar they are also very different. When mc lost everything she cleverly picked herself up and found a way to survive in the island meanwhile the ml hid himself ashamed of his cowardice and never truly wanted to be in the position that of a prince, even leaving himself to rot with deteriorating health. But then, they both meet and it was the start of a beautiful friendship turned to lovers they picked each other up (more on mcs part helping ml) I cannot begin to imagine what would happen had they not met.
I also love how the mc who is optimistic and strong willed is also fearful and distrustful of those around her only shouldering burdens on her own. Meanwhile the ml who seems cold and also secretive has a soft and kind side even helping the mc when he thought she was gonna off herself. I mean I can yap about them all day but this is all known info .. the side characters are fun too. They have their own goals, people they care about, and futures ahead of them. To me they’re very memorable and that in itself is already a big accomplishment. The villain (mcs brother) is also realistic to me, he cares about his family but his deep rooted jealously and inferiority complex grew with him, leaving a nasty projection of hatred to his own flesh and blood. He is consumed by his greed and malice, which is the most human thing, that you can see everyday to those in power. Although I do wish I saw more of mc and ml interacting just getting to know each other more I don’t think their romance was rushed. There were some scenes I felt dragged (very few) but honestly for now I can’t think anything I found I really disliked and somehow they managed to make me feel the pace was both slow and fast ???(idk what I’m doing anymore).
I’m no writer and I’m ass at this stuff so but I think this is a great read I loved it and I wish it was more popular. I will definitely try to support the author in any way I can. Truly a great read.
