The trolly problem is a horrible way to judge if a person is good natured or bad natured ... A nice person wouldn't be able to choose or would live with the guilt of having made a choice ....the bad person wouldn't give two shits if saving five people made him look good while sending the one to his death ....

    True... like what if to make it fair i switch the brakes then quickly switch them back so the train looses control and kills everyone. Am i good or bad ?

    I would like to argue that this might be the best solution actually. No witnesses and no guilt over leaving someone out. Total fairness
