Red hair, right? She is annoying. But with a mother like hers, so-called brothers, and a super busy, incompetent father, the way she turned out is actually commendable. She just needs a major wake-up call, like losing a limb or two, to get responsible and start paying attention to warnings esp. of mc who repeatedly protected her.
She is selfish. Knowing what trouble she is causing him and still goes through with it. He may “like” her but I would find her annoying. Her parents lack of discipline is why she act that way it’s not cute or innocent it’s just reckless. She almost dies 2 times and he had to save her both times due to her not listening. She doesn’t reflect on situations either which is why things keep repeating. Overall she is a distraction to him and hinders his progression in every aspect
From what I know of the mc’s past life, the mother was outright villainous. That girl suffered immensely because he wasn’t mature enough to protect her, unlike now. Instead of supporting her, the mother tried to sell her off into marriage, with the other party seemingly forced to agree under certain conditions. The real person to blame, though, is the father. As the Murim Alliance leader, he’s incredibly busy, I get it—but before setting the world straight, he should have kept his own family in check and put a stop to his wife’s illegal activities.
Hopefully, that girl will stop being so frustrating now. She should at least recognize by now that no matter what she says, her mother will just insult and blame the mc. I would have despised her if she were villainous like her mother, but she’s innocent and unaware of the ways of the world. She might also be feeling pressured by her status as the Murim Alliance leader's daughter. There’s a hint of this when assassins tried to attack her; she knew about the threat and wanted to fight them herself. But, of course, she lacks the skill and was reckless, ultimately dragging the mc’s name into it. If she’d died in that attack, the consequences he’d face would have been so tremendous just thinking abt it gives me chills.
Immature is right I don't think wanting freedom is selfish. Also spoiled rotten is not the word no one in the world is mature enough to guide her properly even mc is also just superficially telling her not to do this and that instead of having proper conversation but of course if he spent even a minute more that disgusting so called brother would make a huge issue out of it and who knows what future troubles he will cause.
And you can hardly expect anyone to guide her with a world filled with muscle brains and uneducated women. I wonder where the scholars are??
She is selfish in the way that she only wants to do what she wants even if others are obviously getting trouble because of it. This is why we're so frustrated with her.
Yeah, wanting freedom is not selfish, but this is different.
Wait, are women doesn't received education in murim, is martial arts not considered education or some lady of the house training or something?
About the scholar, is the murim advisor a scholar?
Exactly! She is selfish because she knows what her interactions with him does and she dgaf saying "once i set my eyes on something blah blah" the father is definitely useless and even a useless master but that girl has to have common sense. They are teenagers now it has nothing to do with innocence she knows. Girl said you've been avoiding me and STILL BOTHERED HIM. LIKE TAKE A HINT or be more secretive she don't even try
she is not immature. she def know everyone cannot said no to her bcs of her father. that really annoying af like. female it's okay to be weak but atleast have strong mind. she both weak and dumb. she just selvish nd doesn't care abt ppl arround her. and keep repeating the same behavior .
cant we make petition to makr her ded?
Yes, her personality is frustrating, and I’m not denying that. But I’m also trying to see things from her perspective. Her world is incredibly small—she hardly knows anyone outside her family and a few bodyguards or acquaintances who respect her only because she's the alliance leader's daughter. They treat her like a princess out of formality, but in reality, they’re neglecting her. If her parents knew she was desperate to go out, they could take her themselves. Otherwise, it’s no surprise she jumps at any chance to leave. Also, she’s only around 10 or 15 years old, so I’d say a lot of this can be chalked up to immaturity.
Nope there’s a difference between literacy and education. Knowing how to read or write makes someone literate, but not necessarily educated. If women are capable of reading a martial arts book, that just means they’re literate.
As for the Murim advisor, he could be a scholar, but he could just as well be someone who’s sharp and understands the world enough to advise others. In modern terms, he could be what we call 'street smart.'
How small? in what sense? Desperate to go out? This is not how I see this. For me, it's more like she wants to be with MC every chance she gets even if MC goes in trouble. So that's why you said "wanting freedom", oh so that's how you see it. I see.
Oh right, besides scholars usually employed by the palace/government, right? Are Jegal family (am I right? Jegal?) Are not scholars or they're just famous in being strategist or something?
What do you think about that girl yeon-yeon? I want to hear your thoughts.
