I agree. I actually have a hunch why mc couldn't get accepted everytime he tries to submit his works. Someone must have sabotaged it. Perhaps it was that bastard's(yanagi) doing.
mangaupdate said the status is complete at two volumes in the home country though. I want the subplot development too, but I'm not sure there's still a sequel.
The matter of uke being the ghost writer is still not being discuss that much. I assume that this will be the next volume's plot to go with.
