I dont really think so. Like i get what you mean but like think about it like this. You are at the bottom of the food chain and you find someone who seems to be in the same spot as you. Your cautious cuz you got trust issues but that person ends up showing you that they are struggling the same, doing shady things to get by. You start thinking "hey, this person get it. They UNDERSTAND." So you end up getting closer and closer and giving them your 100% Then BAM you find out they lied and are fake. They actually DONT understand you, they dont live the same life, and were never 100% straight with you. Not only are you feeling betrayed by the fact that they lied. But you feel betrayed because they lied about understanding you on such a deep and personal level. It dosent help that the trust you gave them, they you thought they earned and that they were safe enough to give was wasted on a faker. (Sorry im a writing and lit major analyzing metaphors n shit is my thing ) hopefully this helps you understand shin a little better)
He's already put together that he's undercover obviously so of course he had to lie. I don't understand why he's so angry that he's not a gangster, I mean that would work out better for him. He's definitely being irrational in my opinion.
