She is the reincarnation of Saint Nyla and Isidor is a reincarnate of the First Duke of Visconti. it was before the one when she lived in Korea. He was drawn to her but said he didn’t like pushovers or good girls so he never pursued her like he is now. After she died he passed his title to his younger brother and disappeared.
The first duke Seymour also said he wish Nyla was his daughter

But the saintess is too pushover, so the past ishidor though, "maybe she doesn't really love me" and feel bad with how pushover she was and hopped she better became a selfish person... So he tell her, "let break up, I like the bad girl more"
It was clear that they both loved each other but they weren’t lovers. He followed her around and complained about her sacrificing herself for everyone which eventually lead to her death, he was also jealous. I’m sure they would’ve ended up together but she had a short life. When she dies she tells him she’ll become a bad girl in the next life so he’ll like her and they can be together for a long time, he says she’s too much of a push over so it would probably take 2 lives to make her change. This isidor treats her very differently than the first because although he loved her in his first life there were things he didn’t like but in this lifetime she’s his dream girl and is more selfish like he wanted her to be. My memory isn’t 100% though
