Personally, I like reading them to see how f****ed up the authors can make their work into. It always blows my mind how crazy people's imagination can get.

Because some people like a fucked up story that is up front for what it is rather than one that pretends it’s anything but what it is like say your example roses and champagne. This is a sexually violent story. This is the point of the story. Roses and Champagne is just as much similar but packaged in a palatable “romance” still being a pig but covered in lipstick. I’d rather just have the pig than lie to myself that I’m still consuming pig and it’s makes perfect sense to then seek out literature like this if this is your desired entertainment and would prefer to have a pure experience that further encourages rape culture as romantic rather than portray it at face value.
People who like this, what do you get out of it? I’m not judging just curious, I can’t even handle shit like corrosive, best I can do is roses & champagne where they shoot each other. I need a happy ending or else I feel wrong
