this story is so pure, but the ending? painful. yuo know, taehyun was quite annoying at times, but i can’t help identifying with him in that i, too, often feel unworthy of love, so i understand him to an extent. but taehyun is fortunate, he has dayeol. the tragedy lies in his overwhelming fear of losing dayeol’s affection, which causes him to suppress his emotions all the way to the end. where’s the emotional fulfillment? the closure? i’m gutted. how merciless of the author.
+ this is off topic, but i remember reading this when it first came out. i was much younger then, and i couldn’t fully grasp the depth of their connection (doubt i fully do even now). i remember feeling so pissed by the ending. funny how time reshapes your perspective.
