the mc has serious abandonment issues after hes been abandoned by his biological family when he was a kid and therefore tries to do almost everything his hyung tells him to do (e.g.: work at the gambling den despite being constantly harrassed, do other dangerous jobs etc etc) bc he thinks it's the only way hes gonna be loved and not abandoned in return
thats the reason why hes so relieved when his hyung told him he was worried about him and told him to come back even tho he messed up the job given to him, tho we all know what happened after that
this is one of the points of character development for the mc, bc hes so used to feeling like he needs to prove himself as worthy of being loved and fight for what little good thing he has in his life that he struggled for a bit to understand that the wolf loves him unconditionally for simply being himself without asking for anything in return
