It's kind of cute in my opinion. It didn't look like he was out off by the idea, just never considered it or had a reason to get it. Getting something like this because you want to get the attention of someone you're into is normal. No different than listening to the same band or watch a show that your crush likes
Somehow I kinda hate that he actually got the nipple piercing just so he could get Pado’s attention. I mean it was pretty obvious that Hae-il was not really fond of the idea, and now he just did it because of someone else. ╥﹏╥
