Thank god i read the novel bc man the manhwa cut out a lot of heeseong’s exposition on why he trusts his brother so much. I can see why people would think hes dumb and rash bc of this, but trust me the novel expands more on why he left chiyoung so quickly. Cant even blame him bc he rlly thinks chiyoung only likes him as a puppy and not a person. His spiraling was well written in the novel imo. As much as he enjoys chiyoung’s care, hes conflicted at the loyalty he feels for his pack/brother. So much so he powered through his injury and waddled out of the building in his puppy form and dragged a big lump of clothes half his tiny size. Its supposed to happen in this chapter but they cut it ? I hope they show it somehow bc god it was so pitiful TTT

Poor heeseong is really desperate for a sense of belonging and his ‘brother’ was the only person who provided that so ofc he wants to go back to what he ‘thinks’ is family. Keep in mind that heeseong values and yearns being part of a dog pack so much that whatever his brother advises, he tries to think its for his own good. Its textbook years of manipulation. Now, hes starting to feel conflicted about it bc of the betrayal. It’ll get worse in the next chapters, poor heeseong cant catch a break

Tbh the novel so far (im still reading) really expanded his turmoil and anxiety for family and packs/belonging really well. The betrayal left a really big mark on him. I feel so bad for heeseong TT thankfully the fluff balances it all out yippee!!! please consider reading the novel bc clearly the manhwa is gonna leave a lot of the exposition out and butcher heeseong’s character along the way lol rip
