If you check ch.1 out, he us indeed both esper and guide, but not both S-rank. He is an S-rank guide + A-rank Esper! Which I'd say is pretty fair to not make him too OP (*´∇｀*)

He has both power... Even if he's a B-rank esper. It's still sth. But he's an A-rank. Ik we're used to S-rank MC, but an S-rank is still very powerful. To me, he's pretty OP. (And he could even do that will suppression thing. That means he technically could kill an S-rank esper).
From what I understood the will supression thing is a guide trait, since that S-rank woman guide also knee about it. But its rare to see cause its eems the guide has to be on the level of the esper, enough to will supress! He only has used his power to manipulate some energy on a machine until now, and throw the ML's power ball thing into a wall lmao.
I think you also cant randomly will supress an esper, the esper also has to allow it kinda for it to happen, but he was going berserk + even said he let him do it, so its not really a weapon a guide can randomly use.
So to me its not OP YET atleast, plus in a world of espers and guides, usually the guides die easily and cant even fight back, so this is a nice way to help that
but I get why you already find this OP HAHA, but the only cool thing imo until now was will suppressing, which isnt even an esper skill. Honestly his esper power is pretty mrdiocre rn
Mediocre because ML is S-rank an A-rank is super high.. we're just used to seeing OP OP characters imo.. ik that will suppression has a few conditions, but judging from how ML wasn't sure he allowed it or not. It's safe to say that MC is probably a higher rank guide (maybe S+ or S++?).
Personally, I still think he's op if the author utilises all his skills, but I doubt that lol.
He is a dual right so S- Guide and esper in one or do I see that wrong
