I dont believe she actually believes anything shes saying right now. Like she deliberately isolated him, and acted like he has to do everything she wants. Then she physically and verbally abused and made fun of him with other people. Those werent mindless actions, they were deliberate, planned to a T. She even planned something diabolical towards one of his female classmate. Shes not dense if shes capable of planning someones misery. Shes not dumb. Shes hella cunning. So id say this is an act, if it isnt, then the author is dumb and dont actually know how to write a character. Her being dense is like a complete 180 from what she was before.
