The name of your "name partner" would naturally appear, perhaps in some cases, you are born with it. But in the story, Sawol's "name partner" name, which was Woojae's, slowly appeared on his skin as their relationship progress however for the ml, Sawol's name was already engraved on him. And it might be illegal cause covering it up or erasing it completely means the person rejects/refuse to acknowledge their "name partner". I suppose, it's like when an Alpha marks their fated pair. Though we don't have any information to what does happened to people that gets rejected but their "name partner"
