AGREED I hate it when it was quite one sided
Yea their whole relationship is really a breathe of fresh air. We don’t have to spend 50 chapters dragged along by a BS misunderstanding because they have complete respect and understanding of each other, rather than what is usually the case of the ML patronizing the FL and not ever explaining shit for some reason and the FL assuming the worst 100% of the time and also not discussing anything and not putting in any of effort like you said.
Her going for it, just makes this much more fun and easy to resolve. People being complaining about the whole ghosting thing making the MLs red flags, but then you think about the several hundred times FLs have done that, ghosting and running away lmfaoo. No one blamed those FL cause they’re the mc and saw their side of the story, while readers don’t care about the love interest’s reasoning.
Usually in these romance stories, majority of the female leads put in like 60% effort, and the male leads put in at least 90% effort. Cause authors know readers love when a male lead goes all out to chase after the FL. But it’s rarely expected for the FL to actually chase after a ML.
