it's like a sneak peek to where the real highlight of the story starts, a prologue introducing the characters. the reincarnated girl probably will have some sort of important role part in story and the big events will probably happen when they're much bigger when they enter the academy arc. but seeing how the reincarnated got rejected she's probably just a character to highlight mc and fl more, who knows really
