You’re on the right track. The original artist for the comic was found guilty of something along the lines of child porn and was convicted/ arrested. The author wanted to have no more affiliation with the artist- hence the very long hiatus. It’s a shame everything came out like it did cause if someone’s awful choices.
they got exposed for making shota exo fanfic/doujins (like literal in diapers baby stuff...) so they got dropped by the publisher, not arrested

It said that, the author of Dear Benjamin doesnt like the previous artists due to their old work ( idk the detail but i think its about the prev artist draw smthg like pedo thing) the author found out about and absolutely dislike it... Ig??

Well i still unable to continue reading this with the new art, cuz im kinda unable to accept it for now since we oredi witness the previous good artstyle and suddenly it change like a bit low quality i would say. Anyway.. We finally have this story completed so.. Cant complaint a lot ig.
