There is romance and as for the annoying fl, I think everyone will have their own opinion. Personnaly, I think she is okay, not too annoying. Check it out, I swear u won't be disappointed

The romance is not main focus in the story right? I mean its the soft one?

You will not find actual romance yet. The notion is there, the girl has confessed to him and everyone knows she's endgame for him, but there is nothing else going on,
they are not dating or kissing and she's off screen doing her own thing most of the time, and the way the story is going, there will be no romance development further for quite a while. The story is mainly your typical Isekai growing up and getting OP with your previous life knowledge. Similar to Mushoku tensei but without the harem and with less politics involved. Plus the main character is not a garbage pervert creep, so I don't know how that influences your decision.

Yah she is annoying, but of course it is used for plot device, but they didnt really officially dated and I think the ending is near at the novel, but I still didnt read it
