i absolutely hate the king and it feels like they’re pushing him as ml. heide is such a better option. the king took advantage and basically raped him when he was in a childlike state. he didn’t know what was going on and didn’t have the ability or mental capacity to say no. it was just gross and made the story so much more uncomfortable than it needed to be.
