Ugh dohu makes my heart ache. I’ve been too much like him throughout my life. There’s no such thing as a “normal,” everything is different for everyone. And not many people get that. He needs to start giving himself some more self respect and let go of how people see him and see for himself how he actually is. Who gives a fuck if you aren’t “expressive?” One can care about loved ones in many other ways. People trying to change who we are makes us believe what they say about us.

    Yes you're totally right, I identify so much with Dohu too, especially after receiving a diagnosis with asperger syndrome. The only thing that matters is how we feel and being able to love and respect ourselves first and foremost. If other people don't like what they see, that's their problem! For this reason, being able to find friends that accepts us for who we are is something very precious
