Damn. I’m glad I’m not the only want that wanted Chisoo to end up with the uke. He was on the verge of making a change but backed out at the last minute. That comment about losing your soul the minute you killed someone to survive hit hard. He’s only now seeing the blood on his hands, Lady Macbeth style. What a brilliantly written manhwa.

What makes it more tragic is that it’s possible that the only reason he decided not to run away with the uke is that they both would get killed by the group, just like the previous boss. So, even if he wants to change he’s stuck with the organization. Trapped in a cage of loyalty, money and violence. So now he has to close off his heart again.

It’s so refreshing that the main couple didn’t get together at the end. Sad, but realistic. I think the author took a risk with such an ending and I was quite impressed with that.
