I think you get that wrong. She imagine that if she said those things and expected the priest to still be with her, she is being selfish. So she said she push his mother on purpose and even act like she using him so that he will throw her out.
so I’m going to be completely honest, the FL is really annoying me at this point, she does not use her brain, she says she did “push” his mom down on purpose, and even so expect him to continue their engagement process. I hope in future she uses her brain, and becomes more independent.
