for closure i guess, she knows her mom didn’t know her birthday but she needed to hear it for herself. it gave her the reassurance that she needed to move on. not only did she find out her birthday due to the visit but she finally had the courage to move on from the life she lived with her mother by seeing her moms reaction. at least that’s what i gathered from that, i might be wrong lol
Idk man. its kinda weird to me. MC literally just stated firmly that she didnt want to go to see her mom. like she was abused and everything. so why is she agreeing to one sentence from the yellow haired guy (srry i cant rmb names)?? like bro... isnt that a bit funny??? One sentence and her wanting to know her birthday makes u want to go and see ur abusive mother that made u work like shit and hit u???? idk man. seems kinda off to me.
honestly my opinion but i think the yellow haired guy was kinda ass for recommending MC to revisit her mom as well. Like gang, he literally knows that MC made the decision to not want to see her mom again. So why is he even trying to change her mind. "Im pretty sure u have something u want from her/left behind with her" Okay?? but MC still literally suffered emotionally and physically from her mom. What makes him think its right to recommend her to revisit her mom. Her mom literally grabbed her when she last went to see her when she was dragged there. Maybe he didnt know that, but even so he knew that MC was abused. Why tf wld any sane person recommend the abused person to revisit the abuser???
Again, its just my opinion. Maybe he gets better later on in the story. But rn im feeling kinda off about this guy rn ( ̄∇ ̄")
