Yeahh, if I remember right, he had been essentially brainwashed by the church since a young age to do whatever they wanted and they manipulated him as they pleased. MC's mother assumingly got to break him free of some of that, so suddenly losing her would've been devastating for him, and probably instilled even more religious indoctronation on how he's the cause for all this and needs to repent, etc.
I also vaguely remember seeing flashbacks of their past lives where he always did try to get to her/save her in time, or was utterly devastated when he heard of her deaths.
Not necessarily trying to argue or defend him per se, I don't particularly care enough to do that, just wanted to point out what we know so far (and what I remember).

He’s basically internalized his unworthiness as a commoner born, former slave, “lowly” fighter. That changed on the surface when he became a holy knight, but the mentality really didn’t wear away. Despite his love for Beatrice, he was acutely sensitive to the difference in status between them. On top of that, he even lost his status with Lux by breaking his vow of chastity, so now he is in some ways a fraudulent holy knight.
He makes the choice to stay away from her, but he also legitimately believes he’s not able to give her the life she deserves. I think we’re going to see that he tried to help in her past lives, just in ways that were too little, too late.
I just don't like them especially the Father, I'm sorry but even after knowing he loves her daughter, but that multiple lives she lived through but not a single one where he was present and there for her.
There may be an acceptable reason, but for me that reason will never be enough.
You were given multiple chances in different lives to make up with her and be by her side to protect and care for her even if you won't admit being the Father, but you just stubbornly try to hide and ignore all your daughter's advancements, it's freaking frustrating! She lived those lives experiencing hardships including her being fatherless! That's some emotional damage! She had no one to lean on those lives, and he was just there! Being busy with his self pitying and downing and mourning! Di kana sana umiyot yawa ka!
