I don't think he is. He doesn't know it's a game. ML thought MC was abandoning the empire when he logged off. The Grand Duke was/is an NPC in the video game.
But a couple chapters back he told the duke “you killed me twice” is respawning normal to these characters do they not question it ?
I would presume so, since they're programmed.
Why is the grand duke acting shocked he was literally besides him while he was consuming those potions unless he didn’t know they were poisonous? Like is the grand duke able to see the panel where it said “poison 70%”?
