Point exactly where I said I wanted them to end up coz it's a girl x boy pairing? if this was shoujo and everything is reversed where the uke is a girl and the girl in this story was a boy who was feeling up his chances with the ML, I will still ship him with the ML because I would still think the FL in that story sucks as just like the uke in this story sucks ass. This is not the toxic story that you are making it out to be and the girl that you mentioned literally knows him for a very short time. They aren't even dating they are just trying to get to know each other. Also it is hinted at the initial few chapters that the seme is gay by the seme himself so wanting him to end up with a girl is just weird. He never expressed any romantic interest in the girl he was trying to move on but he couldn't ultimately catch feelings for her at all.

it's a different take for a BL, but that girl was really nice; her scenes were very brief but she came off as considerate and not pushy, she also had the integrity to be straightforward and ask directly what her chances are with the seme when they already spent a good amount of time with each other, and she still gracefully accepted it when she ultimately got turned down. If only the seme was not obsessed with the uke (and if he's at least bi), it's so easy to fall in love with her instead.
Uke in this work is meh, another one of those that some readers praise for being complex and relatable when all they are is just relatable to ya'll toxic ass-- if you find this trait realistic please do some introspection on yourself, this is just bleak and toxic af.
