Even the part where she’s just comfortable letting her family sit in poverty until it suddenly involved the ML bc why they fuck didn’t she think about the Korean food thing before??? She could have taken a lot of money before hand??? She knew it was a good business idea and her family was suffering???
When she first came back she had no idea that her husband was the OG!ML so why did she not try it out?
I cant lie, the premise was super interesting at the beginning, with transmigration, time travel and espers, the story had a good foundation with lots of ways to explore it. But the charecters are the ones who fall really flat for me. Not once was the question why the ml suddenly went through a personality shift when the fl died for the first time answered. The fl was emotionally abused by him in korea, and gave her life up for him, but as soon as the ml creepily manipulated people around her to influence her to try being with him again, she fell back into his arms in a show of true love conquers all type thing. Not once did the ml sincerely apologise to her about his actions in korea, and she just forgave his possesive actions both in the new world and in korea. Also, the fl is just plain dumb and things are just handed to her. Not once does she take the initiative to figure out what happened to her, or do any research on why these things happen. I would have loved to see her strategising evading the duke instead of being found out instantly ;-; and scheme a way to protect her family with her wits. Everyone is as deep as a sheet of paper, and their actions are one dimentional as well.
