Reading this after Raise wa Tanin ga Ii, makes you realize how the author has evolved their narrative and character development.
I mean, this story is objectively very good, I almost can't believe it's less than ten chapters, bc the amount of highs and lows that you feel while reading it makes you think you've read at least 30+ chapters.
Despite being such a well written narrative, and being so captivated by the characters, this story leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.
I'm not saying it should have had a happy fluffy ending, I'm aware this isn't this type of story.
But I did expect some kind of closure and I don't think one panel with "she's really dead isn't she?" was enough.
The story feels incomplete tbh.
There's an underlying ominous feeling that makes you tense up as the story builds, but it's like it never really go anywhere.
It almost feels like the this heavy tension will snap after chapter 8.
Idk how to explain it, I just wish they let the author cook a bit longer lol

    Agree!!

I also wished their would be more physical intimacy.

That would imo also be needed for the story. Things like "did Hard imagine the same things, what did she like, how far have they gone" etc.

I mean, I didn't even see them hug(?)
