I agree completely with this. There was a lot of hurt & pain, but the character development was so good. I do feel sorry for Rin, but he was what really propelled Kaoru to investigate heat suppressants & ultimate call to action better treatment of omegas in society as a whole. I'm just so content with the final panel of the kids with Yuka & Taiga--it really made me happy:)
I cried so much. glad it ended happily. Love is stronger than fate! that line when Rin said "it's fate, it can't be helped, we can't think of anything else" and Kaoru KAORU SAW YUKA'S FACE - he loves him so much!
Taiga deserved his heartbreak, he got his karma but everything that happened with Rin was heartbreaking. He didn't deserve the pain. so much pain. Rin is yuka if yuka didn't have Kaoru. it broke my heart.
that line when Kaoru said "will fate make the person you love happy?""that's why i believed myself over fate" - it's so true. if taiga was the one who became Yuka's pair - he definitely wouldn't make him happy, he was a rotten monster. yeah he got his redemption later but the turning point was that he lost his fate. Kaoru is the heart of this story. Love Yuka and Kaoru. Happy for Rin's happiness.
