I did the same thing at the gym years ago because my trainer hadn’t shown me the correct lifting technique. I still struggle with back pain to this day because of it, and I’m still young. Please please please be careful at the gym. Don’t be like me. Learn the correct techniques, never ever lift anything with your back, always lift with your legs or isolated muscles. Don’t use your back as a crane! Protect your back and it will protect you. Or you will be in pain for the rest of your life.

    As someone who has had back pain for all my life...it's literally such an important part of your body!
    Sometimes it gets as bad as causing headaches and nausea so pls treat your backs kindly and do whatever necessary to ensure a good posture!
