No? Chapter 23, shows that he asked her what happened to his mother. She was thinking of what to say, first imagining about how to explain her charm ability. Then decided not to go with that explanation. Instead she started overthinking assuming that he’d end up in misery cause of her. So her BEST decision on her explanation was lying and saying she murder his mother and then putting on an act, saying his mother was an obstacle. He didn’t believe it at first but then she kept saying more.
Her reasoning was that she felt she needed to push him away. It had nothing to do with the prince lmao. She basically ruined her own chances with the marriage, all cause she wanted to push him away and put on an act.
So in other words she wanted him to protect from herself. I'd do the same ngl. With the charm ability it'd be quite a hassle to create ties with how everyone is acting
She's very, well not too realistic, but she's there. I would choose the decisions she's made as well, especially since the feeling of desperation and wanting a way out of her situation that she accidentally created without a thought- since at the time she thought it was a videogame- she didn't THINK she would actually get Isekai's in there with a level 999 charm she put on the character she choose, not her fault she was trapped. Y'all hating too much on her when she's trying her best to get out and be done with everything.
