I waited for this for years to be completed, holding back and avoiding spoilers..i like it but it seems like there's many important things that weren't disclosed, i would've loved yuki's POV about the whole incident (but a part of me thinks that she didn't do that on purpose so the readers wouldn't get too attached to him and end up hating on ritsuka or mafuyu),i wanted to see how mafuyu took the news and how he dealt with grief, because judging by his personality ,his psych is way more deep and complicated than it seems, his guilt was gnawing at him, he even isolated himself from his childhood friends, holding yuki's guitar with a blank expression on his face, but all that year of mafuyu's mourning was erased. Which leads to his feelings for ritsuka, for someone who had yuki in his life since childhood for someone who was madly in love with yuki, yet after a year from yuki's passing and after couple months of meeting ritsuka he was already loving someone else easily. not saying that he doesn't deserve to be happy or to move on, but i would've appreciated if that transition from grief to love was depicted thoroughly, especially that mafuyu's guilt seemed immense. Many aspects were disregarded and many things were rushed, and i can understand since before this work the author only made DJs and this is one of her first long works, she was probably rushing this to be a normal short manga but extended it due to the love it received and ended up discarding many details ,especially when it comes to the side couples and development of their relationships . I hope she gives the side couples their own mangas, because they're as interesting as the main couple if not more.
