This is a spoiler. Jake/John has an amnesia, because of him FL will be sent to prison. It was because of a gun iirc,ml tried to help FL but she told the police men that she helped John that's why she was imprisoned for 6 months. They did not wrote to each other which caused misunderstanding. After she was released she got tickets from an inmate and she went to NYC. When ml learned about this,he thought she betrayed him. The big misunderstanding that I'm talking about. So FL worked there and met a Mafia boss named Enzo,they became friends. One of ml's friend recognized FL and sent a letter to ml. Ml came for some business trip,this time fl's eyes were injured and she cannot see well,but she recognized ml by his built and his voice. He chose to ignore her
Enzo,played the second ml. He asked fl if she can be with him,and FL desperate to move on accepted his proposal. She agreed to date him but as usual,that did not last long because of ml's interruption. Ml kissed FL and asked her to come back. FL asked ml to give her some time to break up with Enzo. Enzo accepted her break up because he already knew that she did not love him and that she has already someone in her heart.
