Yeah I'm on the same page with second couple. It's not my cup of tea, I'm glad he's older that I first thought... But it's 7/8 years difference.... It gives me some kind of ick but it's going smoothly so far. Nothing improper, morally I suppose it's ok.
I like this girl, fujoshi I mean. while I agree it's weird to ship real ppl and treat them like weird fantasy objects.. but she's not weird abt it. She is, but not in gross way, y got me??
She only has few lines where she speaks abt them. It adds a little fun, I didn't watch drama so I'm not sure what are U talking Abt. Like, I started with anime, then manga. So I don't saw this work with other perspectives than drawings lol
i’ve seen part of the drama (& really liked it) & wanted to give the manga a shot and i was honestly really taken aback by how sincere it is? it feels like it was intended to be something more. Typical BL only for it to take a sharp nosedive into the author wanting to genuinely portray lgbt people with a lot of love and support involved. like the little old ladies getting married… uwah….
i really like adachi and kurosawa & will never tire of seeing them in each volume. w/ tsuge and minato…. well, i’m personally rly sensitive to age gaps so they’re not my fav but at the same time their specific dynamic is like. fine? in a vacuum? i was expecting minato to be like. freshly 18. based on how he gets talked about in-series & was dreading it only to find out he’s like 23? which is like. again i’m not a fan of age gaps personally but he’s very much an adult who’s gone through university & is part of the work force atp…. i can deal in this case…. i think maybe tsuge should work a little more on how he tends to subconsciously infantilise him by describing him as like. A Kid. and Soooo Young a little more bc that feels like it would be a wrench in things at some point LOL
aside from that i think my only genuine complaint is manga fujisaki. i was really taken aback seeing how she is in the manga bc her drama focus is about her being aroace only for her manga counterpart… well… i pers cannot stand the fujo-in-bl trope that shows up p commonly bc i think the idea of objectifying like what are, to these characters, real men around them is SUPER weird and it really contrasted the like, genuine sincerity the author ended up giving the characters and story otherwise so every time she showed up it kind of put a damper on my enjoyment. but it’s still an 8/10 imo…. looking forward to the next volume…
