Same im so for the toxicity i honestly don’t even think what he did was all that bad ╮(￣▽￣)╭ like her family was already poor, he wanted to buy the mines or whatever her family had it’s not as if he blackmail her father which he didn’t. He proposed for the sister and fl offered herself up on a sliver platter in the sisters place cuz 1. Sister was pregnant and 2. She was running away with the now we know king. Did he know that she would offer herself up probably ╮(￣▽￣)╭ cuz that’s what they tend to do when they need to save face for the family and he’s a duke they couldn’t just say “no” apparently cuz that’s just so hard of a word to say. I think the only truly bad thing I blame him for is the dead lady and making her ask him to save her.
