Not sure how the novel translations arrived at Eels, unless their original Korean version is different from the one on Bomtoon.
I would send screenshots of the original Korean, but yes it's 새우 / 대하구이 (shrimps/prawns/jumbo grilled prawns)

blossom translations mistranslated. my friend who read the korean novel showed me that it says 새우 (shrimp/prawns) and not 장어 (eel).
I see.. Was wondering since seme hadn't fed the uke eel yet, how could he know about it.. He was serving prawns all along..
That was a mistake in translation and it should have been shrimp or prawn. The giveaway is ML peeling eel - you don't peel eel. The translator moved fr shrimp to eel. I noticed that as much as Blossom Translation did a decent job with the novel, there were errors and switches in words (eg, watcher to guardian).
Regardless, it was a decent translation and I'm grateful to read their work. I also posted the last SS being translated by someone else which was a better translation, if you guys are interested in reading. Set 2 years after the last SS

Isn't the group doing the second side story an MTL group tho? They say they are doing AI translations which is basically MTL
Don't know, but Honey Mochi translated well. I have also translated a Japanese novel (not BL) last year using MTL/AI augmented but I edited so it was really close to the official novel when they came out.
