Rant

why is this suddenly so cringe?

first, Maythan became the selfless princess shielding another person with his damn body when he already knew Cedric, the strongest knight is within vicinity, specially when his priority is supposed to be his own life.

second, is that carry from Cedric necessary? Did he hurt his leg? Then they just stayed there and not get to a safe zone? And where did the student go? Just *poof* like the extra he is?

third, why would a knight, whose supposed to think his sword is his own body part just throw it to the crown prince to let him fight? Isn't a crown prince a treasure of a kingdom, never to endanger himself when not needed? DUKE JUST TWIST THE MONSTER'S NECK TO DEATH and what did Cedric actually do? Just carry Maythan? Why is Maythan suddenly so touchy with them? I don't dislike feminine acts, but why do so when Maythan isn't like that the previous season?

fourth, of course that brother is bad news. So, why, why do Maythan have to do that cliche thinking of seeing him as a good guy after a second of meeting just because he's smiley and he called him bro? He's the crown prince's brother, the old Maythan would have been wary

I mean, JUST WHAT IS with this chapter? Why do I feel like my brain just rot? I feel like the author is pushing this season on the dating or love phase of the characters and putting unnecessary scenes just for them to develop feelings for each other quickly which is making this all feel so FORCED

And I mentioned Cedric a lot but I don't hate him, I'm actually rooting for him, but his actions here isn't like his usual self. He's supposed to be strong, protecting all of them. And I mean all of them seems so unusual in this chap ( ̄へ ̄)
