I think because in his pervious timeline he took ML is his alpha(mate) and due that he turned into omega in this timeline at first he thought it's punishment by God to make him know what it's like to be an omega. And he tried to hide it...
It's explained at the very end of the story that he is actually not a real alpha nor a real omega and that in the end he always turns omega because of Kloff's influence and their mating.
Dawg I hate those story it's like "oh a guy likes another guy but oh no with the power of love the guy suddenly turn into a girl conveniently so their love is not weird anymore and someone can finally get pregnant!!" The only reason I stay was just to see what course of action dude will took or even a revenge haaaaa
Aeroc’s mother was an omega with alpha like features and his mother’s bloodline has strong omega genes (Westport Bloodline) which makes him a mutant of sorts… BUT in volume 5 there was this strange detail Kloff mentioned… Aeroc doesn’t have a knotting system which every alphas has, so technically he isn’t really an alpha but more omega.
