idk if anyone still waiting for this to update but i read the raws. it got a few more chapters before it finished. i dont think anyone will pick it up for a while. so here's the summary of the rest of the story for those who are curious!

basically they had sex and confessed. MC agreed to go back with ML to the capital city. but before that, ML prepared a surprise to re-marry MC again but this time with an actual wedding (not just subtitue marriage) — they wore red dresses and everything. pretty romantic.

MC then found out the lotus lantern that they released on the qixi festival. ML actually wrote some quote but it basically translates as "we met by fate and will be together forever". so ML has been in love with MC since that time. they spent the night together.

ML had broken his relationship with his shitty family and now is on his own. About the red tassel (?), it wasn't from the girl but it's actually from his mom. Also, ML found out MC is a mermaid from when they were bathing together that one time. Basically they clear up tge misunderstanding so far. About the mrrmaid core, ML wanted to give it back but MC said there's no use because it could only be given once. So, giving it back wouldn't do anything. so yeah they agreed to just let ML have the core.

MC then met with second ML where second ML admits his defeat & let go. second ML then told MC that ML will be sent to the border battlefield again by the emperor but ML dont want to bring MC. MC is so conflicted bcs he doesn't want to seperate with ML. ML then assured MC that he'll be alright. He also handed MC a marriage certificate.

ML's grandmother then met MC to seek for forgiveness and accepted MC&ML relationship. she wanted them to return to the family. MC then called out the fact that ML's brother tried to harm them & spilling the tea about MC being a fake bride. grandma said the brother has gone to prison, so they'll be fine and she apologized for what happened before. MC then called out the fact that she apologized probably just because ML is not disabled anymore — but when he's disabled, his whole family turned his back on him & made him suffer. MC then got mad (as he should tbh) and said he couldn't make the decision about going back to the family.

a while later, ML is already in the border. MC sneaked out of his place to meet ML. he brings his marriage certificate just to find the divorce letter also is slipped there. apparently ML wrote some letters on the divorce letter saying "it's worth it" or something about their previous marriage. MC arrived in the border and met with his sister who stayed there too. ML & MC spent the night together.

MC found out that his sister came to the border bcs MC sent her a letter about his leg condition. basically his leg is growing with scales like a mermaid again. so his sister is worried. then she asked when the last time they had sex. they said last night. but sister said it's wrong. they traced it all back and counting that it's been like 9 months. they then bath together AND IT WAS REVEALED THAT HE'S PREGNANT (hence the leg condition)...

also, MC ain't sure whether the baby will turnout to be fish OR human. MC is worried, will ML accept a fish baby? ML then assured him he will accept the banies. MC then gave birth to the babies. later, the batterfield is over and they are winning so ML could take MC to a trip to the beach. the babies are called xiao ding and xiao bing (a twin, one boy one girl). the two babies were eggs when they were born, and they transformed into human forms in a day. they could turn back to fish when they touched water. so basically like a hybrid. they brought the babies to the beach to play in the water.

MC then revealed that his leg is wounded bcs he pulled his scales for the babies (remember his scales have magic). ML is worried that MC is hurting himself. MC then said it's not it, he just wants to show his care for his important people. MC & ML then reminiscing about the first time they met (when ML saved MC). apparently ML remembered MC when he was just a fish... and they kissed at the beach remembering their first meeting. THE END
