I completely agree with your opinion, but this is also a very small village in the mountains. When you're in such small, retired place, communities work differently: they're more close-knit, sometimes like a big family, and usually believe that meddling on their neighbors affairs equals to caring about them. I was raised in a very small village... inhabitants can get really, really annoying trying to pry in you your matters bc they truly care about what's going on on your life and want to help or being a part of it.
It's part of how they're socially built. That said... i hate it xD

Ok I understand that she probably has her own problems, but this is going too far. I can accept her mindset because she can't really do anything about that, but giving out private information and actively interfering with his life is not something that her personal problems can excuse
