Just say you want more variety in those action scenes lol. S2 is good cuz after that intense S1 with revenge and stuff we needed a slow day to day build up which is perfect imo. Tho it might become a problem if S3 be same as S2 and that's when it will really go down.

the problem is not the slowpacing of the manhwa, it's not even slowpaced to begin with lol...
my problem is with the repetition of the same tropes, like an arrogant dude who has trained all his life appears and gets immdiately whooped,,,and our MC doesn't even sweat a bit, like bro was an Assasin, not some overpowered god which the second season has made him out to be

I think you missed something the moment he was bitten by the snake and learned Demonic arts he has already become more than what you call an assassin. And Demonic martial arts are overpowered. That's why these orthodox folks in murim have some much issues because they gotta band together to end one demonic beings. Also it is totally opposite what you concluded of second season made him out to overpowered whatever infact I was shocked he was almost defeated by that wind emperor guy so yeah that being overpowered actually kinda crumbled there...wait did read this for namesake or what lol.
S1 is abt how he became overpowered.
S2 is about he's not the only one overpowered and murim got similar people like him which showed mc that he still has room to grow and unless he is not the most powerful his freedom maybe snatched by other people again and on his journey he helped someone in similar situation like him.

I think I'm just kinda disappointed cuz this could've been a lot more interesting than it is right now...for e.g. all his training friends that the author killed because bro couldn't of what to do with them...Imagine them being a family of assasins and going up the murim world or whatever....

Did you actually read the story???? Different fights he uses different tecniques that he worked hard on and you can tell that he struggles in some of them... And he's an assassin, it has been shown various times that he can normally only win in short fight, because that's how an assassin fights... Why do you think people call him an assassin even when he fights against other people from the Murim? Because that's the way he fights... This story is very good! Also at the end of the second season he clearly realizes that he was a frog in a well. Many times he wins because he thinks like an assassin, he doesn't go up-front against all his enemies, nope, he manipulates de situation in a way more advantadgeous for him, he makes them split up, he gets them by surprise or acts in a way that makes them think they are way more powerful than him and then caughts them off guard. That's how an assassin fights!
