Speaking for myself, the cirmumstances of the second couple are dodgy and leave a bad taste in my mouth. The fish seems dumb and imature especially for being paired with the school nurse who is also his legal guardian now.
Basically, the nurse is adopting a student into his house because he wants to eat him （￣へ￣）
I don't get the hate for 2nd couple rather than them taking a whole ass chapter, they should have gotten side stories or extra idk even a whole new series, the current couple hasn't fully developed
