people are attributing the character's actions to their character (saying the character is changed) without any regard towards the situation.
We have ascertained the depth of this current situation, as well as all respective characters and parties therein, and after careful deliberation, have concluded that it is, in fact, absolute bullshit. We are bored.
first of all, if you want to make a point, using fancy language isn't going to help when your words accomplish nothing. just say that you're bored and wanna shit on the character for not being a brat anymore.
second of all, imagine you're a bird who just turned back into a human after a long time, and people know you were acting like a crazy bird earlier. your owner starts acting weird around you because you're a bird human now (crazy right?!) so you're kinda embarrassed and a bit upset that he's acting this way. you're also aware that you were acting like a bird before and aren't one anymore, so you can't act like a pet as much (hence asking the ml to call him by his HUMAN Korean name.) but, at this point you feel attached to your owner and are upset and obviously acting sort of cute and needy to get him back.
y'all are acting like he's crazy for acting so differently when he was a bird, acting like he was super smart and turned into a dumb human. he didn't. this dude is the exemplar of the dumb main characters in "reincarnation into books" stories. he wanted to get the main character together with the ml while being ignorant of their not liking each other and liking of him instead. he's not the brightest bulb. let's get that straight.
the difference IS that he got to be shameless as a spoiled animal and now doesn't get to be shameless without embarrassing himself. his level of intelligence or personality hasn't really changed. his situation HAS, so obviously he's acting more restrained now. a pretty face can also change the perception of something, a bird acting cute is different from a cute human acting the same way. but they were the same thing, weren't they?
i recommend becoming more emotionally and situationally aware.

The complainers definitely didn't consider the situation. What would they do, behave, if they're were in mc's shoes?
Mc wouldn't act the same, because he's not a small animal pet anymore that can act spoiled and cheeky... plays or poop wherever he wants.
Btw in one of the first chapters, the Duke said he's never allowed anyone to act like this in his presence, and the reason he allows Peep to is because Peep is a small beast (pet).
Agreed with your points and the mc ain't even smart in his real world, imagine not studying because health is more important but immediately wanted to drink alcohol with his buddies after exam lmao
